Turkey Sausage Gravy and Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fully cooked sausage crumbles, turkey or pork
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cup milk, (more if gravy gets to thick)
- salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 2 tablespoons water
- * Be sure to choose gluten free ingredients to make it gluten free.
Directions
- In a small iron skillet or fry pan, add the sausage crumbles and butter, turn burner on medium.
- Cook for a few minutes, add milk, salt and pepper to your taste.
- Turn burner to low, cook a few more minutes, so to let the flavors blend.
- In a small cup add the corn starch and the 2 tablespoons water, when dissolved add to gravy mixture.
- Stir until gravy has thickened, turn off burner, cut Gluten Free Biscuits (click for recipe) in half lengthwise, spoon gravy over biscuits and serve. Enjoy!
