The word “menagerie” was generalized to refer to any varied mixture or a collection. I imagine everyone has some sort of an assortment of ideas going on in their head, most of the time, for me the word for it is “menagerie”. Welcome to my Food Menagerie.
Most all of the posts are semi-homemade, in others words easy peasy! My favorite kind of recipes these days. Actually it takes more time to photograph the food than it does to prepare the food.
Sometimes I search online for recipe ideas to cook with ingredients I have in the fridge or pantry. Needless to say when I find recipes they will be changed to accommodate the ingredients I actually have. I hardly ever shop for special ingredients, I make due with what I already have. As long as the ingredients are good and complement the other ingredients it should be pretty tasty.
I also will be adding food photos, without recipes, I have come across and taken while out and about. Basically if the photos have anything to do with food I might post it!
My favorite hobby. I have always liked taking pictures. I carried a camera around wherever I went. Capturing Beautiful Images I See Through My Camera Lens, I have many photos, to go with all the great memories.
Looking to try different subjects to photograph, I decided to try photographing food. After a few years of taking a few photos of food, I thought, I am going to start a blog with the food pics and post some recipes too.
