Chocolate Hazelnut Spread Marble Cake


  • 1 cup gluten free baking mix
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 small mashed banana
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/8 cup cooking oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread (nutella or other brands)
  • *Make sure to choose gluten free ingredients to make it gluten free!


  • In a medium mixing bowl add mashed banana, egg, light brown sugar and mix together, add milk and cooking oil, and vanilla, beat everything together until blended.
  • Add gluten free baking mix and beat with a fork for 2 minutes.
  • Spray a 7 or 8 inch round pan with cooking spray, I used a 7 inch spring form pan.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan, then add hazelnut spread around top of batter by spoonfuls.
  • With a butter knife swirl hazelnut spread around pan, to evenly distribute hazelnut spread into the cake batter.
  • Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 30-35 minutes.
  • Place on a cooling rack to cool.
  • Open spring form pan and transfer cake to serving dish. Cut, serve, and Enjoy!
  • Taste good with whip cream on top!
