Spaghetti Sauce and Beef Meatballs


  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs or quick oats
  • 1 – 24 ounce jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 ounces pasta cooked to package directions


  • Place ground beef, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, bread crumbs or quick oats, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, mix all ingredients together completely.
  • Roll in to about 10-12 meatballs. Brown on each side, in a skillet on medium heat with olive oil.
  • Add spaghetti sauce to slow cooker and place meatballs in the sauce. Cover and cook on high for about 4 hours.
  • Serve over your favorite pasta. Sprinkle or grate extra parmesan cheese on top.
  • Serves about 4.
