Black-Eyed Peas and Rice made in a Rice Cooker.
Rice Cooker Black-Eyed Peas
2 rice cooker cups of rice, rinsed
1 can black-eyed peas about 15 ounces, drained and rinsed
1 can broth, chicken or beef, about 15 ounces
4-5 Tablespoons bacon pieces
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 stalk celery chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Place everything in the rice cooker, stir and turn on rice cooker cycle.
When finished serve! You can add some chopped green onions on top.
