Easy Green Beans Almondine
- 1 pound fresh or frozen (thawed) whole skinny green beans
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons garlic infused olive oil or regular olive oil, (if you use regular olive oil add some garlic powder).
- Toasted slivered almonds about 1/4 cup
- Salt and pepper to taste
Add butter and olive oil In a large skillet, turn on medium heat, when butter is melted add the green beans.
Saute for a few minutes, add fresh ground pepper to taste, place lid on skillet let cook until green beans are tender, toss beans occasionally around so not to burn.
Turn off heat, toss green beans with some of the almonds when you serve add some slivered almonds on top too.
Sprinkle with salt and more fresh ground pepper to taste.
