Cabbage and Baby Butter Beans

Fried Cabbage and Baby Butter Beans

  • 1/2 head regular size cabbage, sliced
  • 1 can baby butter beans, about 15 ounce, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder and onion powder
  • Salt and Fresh ground pepper to taste
  • A few shakes of parsley

  • Add olive oil and butter to pan, on medium heat, place in cabbage stir and flip cabbage in pan, cook a few minutes until cabbage starts to look translucent and reduces in volume
  • Add butter beans and seasonings stir and flip to completely mix together
  • Turn heat to medium low stirring and flipping occasionally, so not to burn, until cabbage is tender, turn off heat and serve.
