Everybody likes no bake cookies, right? They don’t look that great but they sure do taste good! When I was younger we were only served these cookies at school lunches. I was happy when I found a recipe for them and have been making them for years…
At Easter time I shape them like a bird nest and put jelly beans in them. You can also dump in a pan and cut into squares instead of dropping by spoonfuls on wax paper or foil.

No Bake Cookies
2 cups sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
1/3 cup milk
On medium heat
Combine butter or margarine, milk, sugar, and cocoa in a saucepan, stirring constantly, bring to a full boil. Let boil for one full minute.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla, peanut butter and oatmeal.
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 cup peanut butter
Drop by spoonful onto wax paper or foil. Let cool for at least 30 minutes.
